Technology, done properly.
Too many businesses are sold solutions that don't work, delivered by people they can't hold to account. Trusted Technologists exists to fix that.
Overcomplicated. Overpriced. Under-delivered.
Businesses are routinely sold technology that is too complex for the job, priced far beyond its value, and delivered without proper scoping, handover or support.
When it goes wrong — and it often does — there is nowhere impartial to turn. Buyers absorb the cost, the delay, and the lock-in. Good suppliers get tarred with the same brush as poor ones. Nobody arbitrates.
Six criteria. Applied consistently.
Every member is assessed against the same six criteria before admission, and re-assessed against them each year. This is what "trusted" has to mean.
Fit for purpose
The solution does what the sales process claimed it would do — in the client's real environment, not a demo.
Honestly scoped
Limitations, assumptions and dependencies are disclosed upfront, in writing, before any commitment is made.
Proper handover
Documentation, administrative access and credentials are transferred cleanly. No lock-in traps.
Real support
Response times are defined in advance and actually honoured. No shifting goalposts once the contract is signed.
Right-sized
No unnecessary complexity, no oversold platforms, no capability the client will never use and is quietly paying for.
Clean exit
Clients can leave at any time with their data, their configuration and the freedom to appoint someone else.
Vetted, listed, accountable.
Members who meet the standard may display the Trusted Technologists mark on their website, proposals and communications, and are listed in our public directory.
Membership is reviewed annually against the same six criteria. It can be — and will be — revoked where the standard is no longer met. The mark means something because it can be taken away.
An impartial route to be heard.
Anyone — client or supplier — may submit a grievance about a member's work. We review it impartially against the published standard.
This service is provided free of charge. Our finding is written, reasoned, and shared with both parties. Where the work meets the standard, we say so; where it does not, we say that too.
Fully transparent, and always the complainant's choice.
Where work needs putting right, complainants may — entirely at their discretion — select a fixer from our published remediation panel. Panel members pay a flat listing fee, and those fees are what fund the free grievance-review service. The complainant always chooses. We never assign, never refer for commission, and never take a cut of the remediation work itself.
Help shape the standard.
Founding members are the first cohort to be vetted, listed and marked. In exchange, they have a direct hand in shaping the standard itself — how the criteria are interpreted, how grievances are handled, and how the directory is presented.
- Listed first in the public directory when it launches
- Input into the final wording of the standard
- Founding-member designation retained on renewal
